I knocked off one star purely because of the shipping issue. The delivery was significantly delayed, and the outer package arrived with dents. Fortunately, the grinder itself was undamaged and functions perfectly.
If you donโt mind potential logistics problems, this is a nice pick for home coffee use. I would recommend the product itself, though hope the seller can improve shipping protection and delivery speed.
"This machine worked awesome at first. I loved it so much. I use it about 3 times a week. There was no static. Coffee spit into the holder beautifully and quickly with no mess. After about 3 weeks, the spout that coffee grounds come out of started clogging up. I have to shake the machine constantly to get it to come out. Static electricity started building up and coffee spits all over the counter. You can see it in the picture. I cleaned out the inside of the machine but it didn't help.
I now dread having to grind my coffee. It's a whole annoying ordeal.
Update: The seller reached out to me and was willing to send me a replacement machine. Wonderful Customer service!! I now love this grinder again. I think there was a malfunction with the other machine. I have only used it twice since receiving, so hoping it continues to work beautifully. Coffee is a big deal for us, so a good, efficient grinder is necessary."
Great budget coffee grinder! Minimal static. less than 0.5 gram retention (tap on the side to get the last bits out). The construction is very solid. all metal casing. metal burr. and good weight for stability. The dosing cup is magnetic. which is great for espresso. I have single dosed on this grinder without any issues (full disclosure. I am an espresso newbie). The grind size is consistent as well. The timing dial is very easy and intuitive to use. better than digital in my opinion. Note: the machine also won't grind unless the hopper is locked in. Just keep twisting to the left until it beeps. then it's good to go.
The only critique I may have is the grind size adjustment: it's through a plastic collar which will hopefully hold up. But. as long as it's not being adjusted constant. it should hold up. Also. beware: the grind size numbers may or may not line up when you put the hopper in. Just go to one extreme and then count the clicks as you turn to get the grind size you want. It may also take a little to work in the locking of the hopper. but I didn't force it and it's locking very well and comfortably now.
All said. excellent quality for the price. especially if you get it on discount.

Love this grinder! Works super fast, no problems. Good grind consistency. Not super loud. I think it๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝs very fairly priced for the quality of it!
